Let's talk about flatforms - yes, your eyes don't deceive you. Platforms are back in the form of flatforms as part of this great 90's trend. So today, we'll take a look at why I like them, why they work and how to style the newest fashion trend - flatforms.

The Flatform Trend:

Look, I love my stilettos. The higher the heel, the better a shoe is, that's sort of my motto. But I'm going to admit something you cannot tell anyone. Promise? And you'll never hear me say this again. This is a once-in-a-lifetime thing: Running around town all day in stilettos can get tiring. But don't tell anyone I said that. But here's the truth though: I'll never select a shoe based on comfort. And that's where the flatforms fit in thanks to this fun 90's trend. Flatforms give me the height I want while creating the illusion of a leaner and longer leg and allowing me to not need to soak my feet in a warm tub after a long day of walking. I'm going to use the "V" word again - no, not THAT "V" word. I'm talking about versatility. Flatforms are so in trend and comfortable that they can truly be worn everywhere!

How to Style Flatforms:

Flatforms are incredibly versatile and allow you to go from the beach to weekend brunch while adding some edge to your casual look or dressed up look. Here are some ideas on how to style flatforms:

Looking for a bit of height in your bathing suit? These are perfect to pair with a beach cover up, a fun bathing suit and off to the pool, beach or pool party.

Headed to a weekend brunch? No problem! Pair with a great midi length skirt, rocker tee, and blazer combo or swap out the skirt for a pair of cropped denim or with your favorite off the shoulder romper, like i do above.

Depending on where you work, these could be a great addition to your weekly wardrobe. Comfy, yet fun and providing the needed height.
