Boost your mental wellness: DIY Pedicure

Hi all,

What does your version of Self-Care look like? Today I’m treating myself to a DIY pedicure after listing everything up on POSHMARK and finishing cleaning out the closet so it’s a perfect time to talk tips to help boost mental health wellness.

As quarantine continues, we may be feeling bored or a bunch of other emotions, like anxious, stressed, and restless. One #DrCsTips to help boost mental health wellness is by practicing self-care.

Self-Care lets us recharge our batteries to have more emotional bandwidth to manage the inevitable stress ahead. It allows us to be in the present, take a break from thinking of stress. Taking at least 10 minutes each day to practice some sort of self-care (i.e., deep breathing, going for a walk, journaling, using a sheet mask, reading a book, play with a pet).

One such way to practice self-care is a DIY Spa Pedicure Date, for example, like I do here:

Here’s what you’ll need (swipe up in stories to everything):

-Cucumber – cut into 2 thin slices to place over your eyes. It feels sooo good.

-Pedicure bowl – use any bowl you have at your home or buy one of these electric ones.
