New Year's Eve Lookbook w/ Ash Brooke

Hi all,

Super, super excited today to bring you a very special lookbook for New Year’s Eve with my friend Ashley Brooke, who you might know from YouTube and/or Instagram. For this NYE lookbook, we’re each picking three different looks: one casual, one semi-dressy and one glam for every event you might be attending on the 31st.

Casual NYE look

For the more casual look, we each went in different directions. Ash opted for an amazing high-waisted denim with a black sweater. It’s a great statement sweater that let’s you keep it simple and add great accessories to complement the look. For me, I chose a great sweater dress from ASOS. You could add high heels to this cozy outfit, a head band and you’re good to go. If you’re just staying in, switch the high heels for slippers!

Semi Dressy NYE Look

These looks are perfect if you’re heading to a semi-dressy ocassion. Think: dinner, a party, etc. I opted here for a corduroy jumpsuit, which I love. Sometimes we don’t think of jumpsuits off the bat, and this one has great elements that make it look expensive when it really isn’t. Ash opted for a two-piece metallic suit from ASOS, that is absolutely perfect for NYE. But the beauty of her choice is that they can also be worn as separates! So while you’ll make a big splash during NYE wearing the two-piece metallic suit, you can wear them year-round as separates - or together-, too!

Glam NYE Look

For the most glam and dressed-up look, I again stayed with jumpsuits. I don’t know why, I guess I’m having a jumpsuit kick as of late. This one is just a gorgeous statement polka dot jumpsuit that is so chic and looks expensive, but again, it really isn’t. The polka dots are metallic so they work great for NYE with a pair of black strappy sandals! For Ash’s look, she got this beautiful black one-shoulder dress with a long piece of fabric that goes all the way to the floor. She opted for over the knee boots, but you can wear with several different shoes.

Don’t forget to let us know in the comments below which one is your favorite outfit and what you’ll be wearing this NYE!

Christie
