NYFW Look: All-Black

Hi all,

During NYFW, sometimes we step away from the usual New York uniform and opt for big colors, and bold statements. It is Fashion Week after all right? But today, I opted for a very NY-like look, in partnership with Parker NY, with this all-black outfit.

NYFW Black Dress

Black. The color of NY, some say. And the color of choice of today's outfit. And just because you wear an all-black look, it doesn't mean we can't make it exciting. We start with this gorgeous black dress from Parker NY that has incredible detailing. I absolutely adore the silver beaded detailing along the dress. With the street style vibes of NYFW and the sea of photographers, one thing you might want to go for is an outfit that will be best captured when the wind hits against it, which this dress certainly did. Full disclosure: the dress also has a neck tie, but I decided to wear it loose so it could fly when the wind hit.

Looking at shoes now for this look and I went really NY-ish once again with these heeled combat boots. You've seen me wear combat boots this Fashion Week, so these were on repeat. We know that combat boots are a big trend this season and these heeled ones worked great for me as I'm petite. :)

To finish off the look, I opted for this pink, furry Furla bag. don't worry, it's faux and so so soft. I thought it offered the perfect contrast with the all-black look.
