Fall Must-Have: Floral Dresses

Hi all!

Yes, the title is correct and no, we haven't magically jumped into next Spring & Summer. Floral is very much on trend this fall and I've been sporting both floral dresses and, as you'll soon see, floral blazers as well. So let's take a look at how to style floral dresses for Fall and then go shopping:

Can I Wear Floral Dresses In Fall?

Yes! Floral is no longer just reserved for Spring & Summer. But when you are going to style florals for Fall, you want to pick out dresses or pieces that are rich in Autumn/Fall jewel tones. That's right: We're talking yellows, browns, oranges, reds, blues, greens, etc. For example, you'll notice the dress I'm wearing has blue and yellow/brown hues on it.

When it comes to styling, there are so many ways to style. As opposed to Summer, Fall florals need to be styled for colder temperatures. So when it comes to choosing footwear, opt forover the knee boots, ankle booties (with or without stockings), combat boots and/or slouchy boots.  If you're looking for a jacket to keep you warm, a leather moto jacket or denim jacket will work great! You can drape it over the shoulders or wear it properly. Another option, is to have one sleeve in and the other sort of wear over the shoulder.

The beauty of floral dresses in Fall is that as you can see above, they're super easy to pick out and style so you can be out of the door in no time at all!

Now that you have the basics, let's go shopping:

The dress I'm wearing here is from Prose & Poetry but is not currently available as a dress, but is available as a top.
