NYFW Streetstyle

It's NYFW and it's been a wild - but fun -  couple of days! 

Today's look was one of my favorites of Fashion Week and it all centered on one beautiful skirt. From the get-go, I wanted to style a glamorous look and this dramatic, floor-length jetset diaries skirt from Shop Splash was the perfect starting point. The gold accents and details of the skirt are stunning and when styling this skirt or a similar one, be sure to let it be the focal point of the outfit so as to not look too loud. For this OOTD, I paired the skirt with a basic white turtleneck and added a shearling coat for warmth. Switching over to accessories, I went a black and gold Chanel that paired beautifully with the skirt. Keeping things simple, I finalized the look with a black neutral bootie. 

But don't be mistaken - this floor-length skirt can and should be worn for summer too! Look for new outfits that pair the skirt with bikinis for day use during my St Barth trip in March, plus any forthcoming summer adventures. If not headed to the beach, consider pairing the skirtwith a neutral colored camisole, button or linen blouse with sandals.
