Styling a Red Leather Jacket

Today's post is about making a statement -  a color statement that is! Thanks to this beautiful red leather jacket. I know: your mind right now went straight to the Michael Jackson Thriller video, but no. We're not channeling him today.

A red leather jacket adds color and edge to any outfit, yet is a classic piece that will never go out of style. It us durable and if properly made, you'll own it for a long, long time.

How To Style a Red Leather Jacket?

Styling it is easy too. My recommendation would be to stick with monochromes for the rest of the look. What does this mean? Wear one neutral color head to toe. For example, black jeans or leggings, with a black top. Other colors to consider are all white, all gray or all navy. That'll leave the jacket to do its job of making a statement, but still leaving you chic and sophisticated as opposed to a walking rainbow. Regardless of your choice, you can always go with different colored shoes, like nude or black.

If the monochrome idea isn't your thing, then go for your favorite denim and pair with a basic white button down or t shirt.
