Cailler's NYC Pop Up Recap

Hi all,

Chocolate is one of my guilty pleasures. So, when I heard that Cailler Swiss chocolate was going to have a pop-up shop in New York, I knew I wanted to pass by and get a taste! With Christmas and the holidays upon us, chocolate is always a good gift or something to bring along to a friend’s or family dinner.

As for the pop-up itself, I invite you guys to check it out if you’re in New York from November 19th to the 26th. You might know that New York is famous for great holiday window displaysand the one at the pop-up doesn’t disappoint, having been designed by Simon Doonan. If you’re in the area, stop by, enjoy a chocolate experience and take home some yummy, sweet treats! The pop-up is located on 408 W 14th St (between 9th and 10th Avenues) in the meatpacking district – which by the way is a great place for a night out, so you could make a quick stop on your way to dinner, brunch or out. Plus, don’t forget to do the virtual reality experience which transports you to Broc, Switzerland, where Cailler is made.

During the pop-up’s opening event, I had the chance to meet Cailler’s famed chocolatier Geraldine Mueller Maras and  got to watch her make chocolate ; what an incredible experience it was! I got to eat chocolate and drink champagne – does it get any better? I tried several flavors and types and if I had to pick a favorite, I’d have to say it was the milk chocolate with hazelnuts. Overall, I had a fantastic time and would like to thank Cailler for the invitation! Take a peak – you won’t be disappointed!

If you aren’t in New York, you can still get yummy Cailler Swiss chocolate for the holidays on Amazon. As always, thank you for reading and do let me know what flavor you try!

Xoxo,

Christie
