Backpack Trend

The 2016 blizzard has finally stopped and while I'm still snowed in as I write this, I have the most stunning winter wonderland in my backyard to use for great images, so I must take advantage so I channeled my inner Dora the Explorer and off we went.

Today's casual luxe look was styled around my new Henri Bendel backpack. This beautiful bag is the No.7 Stingray Convertible backpack. What's awesome about it that you can choose to style it as a backpack or a cross-body tote which adds versatility to any wardrobe. This Henri Bendel bag gets its luxe feel from the gold straps and white texture and can elevate almost any look.

To complement this bigger bag, I wanted to wear slim-fitting clothes. This is all about counter-balancing the look. So I chose basic black leggings and a black turtleneck but added a blue blazer for some warmth.

Winter weather like this also calls for some faux fur. To keep my head and ears warm, I grabbed a white faux fur trapper hat. For my feet, my go-to snow boots are these casual, chic and comfortable Sorel boots with faux fur detail. For the hands, I chose these Forever 21 black and gray gloves.
