Denim Shorts: A Basic For Summer

Hi everyone!

Today's look is perfect for a casual summer day! When pulling pieces for these looks, I first chose my favorite pair of denim shorts. For the first look, I added a basic grey tee. To help spruce it up I then added a fun gypsy coin necklace. For the second look, I added a silky blouse. To finish both summer looks, I selected the season's "it" shoe and wore gladiator sandals.

By the way, If you don't already own a pair of denim shorts, I highly recommend them because they are a great basic piece since they are so incredibly versatile. For instance, in the summer you can simply pair with a bikini top, basic tee (as I do above), great blouse (as I do above), or tank and blazer combo. For the fall and winter, you can pair with black leggings and booties plus a great chunky sweater or sweater plus coat combo.
