Tweed Blazer

Hi all,

The temperatures are dropping finally now in December on the East Coast of the US just as I am planning my escape to Miami hehe! But before Miami, I had a great brunch in DC with some stylish bloggers and I needed to warm up for the occasion.

The center piece of today's outfit is this beautiful tweed blazer. While a blazer is a classic staple that should be in everyone's closet, the texture and feel of this one makes it a bit Chanelesque to me, but without the price tag of course. By now, you know that my style is feminine and classic, with an edgy or modern twist and this one is a great example of it. This blazer is from Shein and you can find this blazer via the link above.

Remember, since the jacket has a boxy shape, you want to pair it with slim-fitting pieces underneath and below, to avoid getting lost in a sea of clothes. This is particularly true if you're, like me, and are not 6'' ft tall!

To complete the look and the edgy twist, I added over the knee boots - a must have this year and any year! And because the coat is colorful, I paired it with neutrals - a blue turtleneck and black boots. You can substitute these with any other neutrals. Think white top and white jeans for example.
