Office Chic to Happy Hour

Today's post is all about how to create a chic office look that is happy hour appropriate! When dressing for the office it is important to lean on the conservative side. For that reason it can be difficult to create a look that is also ready for an evening of fun with your girlfriends or a hot date. When selecting today's look, I picked a great midi skirt with a fun slit. This piece allows you to show some leg while also keeping it modest. I then picked a form fitting turtleneck. Because I love adding some edge to my looks, I grabbed a great leather jacket. For accessories, I selected a great Celine Phantom bag and picked black ankle booties from Steve Madden.

Remember you can wear form fitting pieces to work as long as the other separate is more voluminous. This can be done by wearing palazzo or wide legged trousers or an a-line skirt plus form fitting top OR form fitting skirt or pants plus chunky knit or long, loose blouse.
