And today is a very special post: A look at the Zac Posen show.

This incredible experience had me and the @lilacandlilies_boutique going backstage as well as sitting front row. While backstage, we were able to see the makeup prep by Mac and had a conversation with the man himself, Zac Posen. He explained his inspiration for his latest collection - Ugandan lawyer-princess, Princess Elizabeth of Toro.

This one below as my personal favorite- loved the embellishments and detailing on this dress

For this event, I chose to go with this fabulous maroon ombre dress from Shein. It is a bit see-through so be sure to pair with stockings, like I did. To accentuate my waist, I paired a great black belt. And it was chilly all week, so I grabbed these studded black gloves and black beanie from ASOS.

This dress is also perfect for when the temperatures begin to rise. Summer, Fall, Spring, whatever the time of year, this dress can be worn any season, making this a great purchase for only $22. When styling it, pair it with strappy heeled sandals and a great clutch.
